Morrison Music Repairs is set up to service and repair all Brass & Woodwind instruments. We do various levels of servicing including minor service, general service, full service and overhauls. Other repairs include dent repairs, cork replacement, stuck slide removal, stuck mouthpiece removal, re-stringing french horns… and so much more!
Brass & Woodwind instruments require regular maintenance to keep them in optimal playing condition. Annual servicing is generally recommended. Over time, perishable parts on your instrument wear out and require replacement (such as pads, corks and felts). I liken your instrument to a car, if it is regularly maintained it will continue to run well. At Morrison Music Repairs we assess your instrument and offer recommendations on the type of service that would best suit your instrument.
Pre-book Your Service: Pre-booking your service will minimise the time your instrument is in the workshop and ensure it gets priority when it arrives.

Appointments: All instruments are to be dropped off and picked up via appointment only.

Woodwind Servicing & Repair
Woodwind servicing has various levels depending on what is required. Minor servicing through to overhauls are available depending on your specific needs. Sometimes accidents happen and instruments require some more in depth repairs. These are all carried out with utmost care. This can include dent repairs, repairs to bent keys or soldering of broken keys. These are all quoted on case by case.

Brass Servicing & Repair
Brass servicing includes thorough cleaning of your instrument to remove all debris that had built up internally and externally. All moving parts are greased and oiled to ensure your instrument is functioning optimally.
Dent repairs are common for brass instruments and are carried out using a range of specially designed tools.
